Choosing your dream violin can be a daunting and expensive task. That is why I offer a three year warranty on all refurbished instruments and a five year warranty on Instruments made by myself.* Nothing that is offered for sale leaves the premises without a quality set-up that utilizes the best materials. The provenance of each instrument is also carefully checked to ensure you are getting value for your hard earned money! Instruments purchased through the website can be shipped domestically or worldwide please contact me before-hand to receive a shipping quote.*
At the end of the day, pictures and words do little to convey the sound quality and feel of an instrument. If you are interested in one of my violins, you are welcome to try it in person at my workshop, and/or, take it home for a trial before you buy. To avail of this you must bring a valid photo ID with you in person to my workshop. Trials are for three days maximum.
INSTRUMENTS FOR SALE
2014 (4/4) Chinese handcrafted violin (Stradivari pattern). This instrument has a clear strong tone and is easy to play with a low action. The violin has a new bridge, sound-post and is fitted with Dogal strings. The tailpiece (with four individual fine tuners), chinrest, pegs and fingerboard are all made of ebony. €500.
Old German violin recently refurbished by myself with new ebony pegs, fingerboard, chinrest, Wittner finetuner tailpiece and Pirastro tonica strings. This violin has a warm and sweet tone with good volume and projection. All the cracks in the top have been fully glued, cleated and sealed. Comes without case and bow. €850. SOLD.
*N.B the warranty does not cover strings, bridges, or other fair wear and tear components. Misuse or damage to the instrument caused by improper storage, handling or neglect will void the warranty. Repairs and or adjustments/alterations carried out by a third party may nullify the warranty.
*All Items are shipped at the buyers expense and are subject to the courier’s conditions of carriage. While every effort will be made on my behalf to prepare an item for secure shipping, I accept no liability for instruments lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay import/duty/customs fees and or any other extraneous expenses.
